How to Apply

The search for our new Head of Foundation is being supported by GatenbySanderson and the appointee will be selected by a Panel chaired by our Board Chair, Juliette White.

Our advisors at GatenbySanderson will be delighted to offer you a confidential exploratory conversation to bring the role further to life for you, explore your suitability in greater detail, and support you through the application process if you feel a mutual fit with the role and our school.

A CV, a letter of application addressed to Juliette White, Chair of the Board, and the School’s application form completed in full must be submitted to GatenbySanderson by 6pm on Sunday 17thMay 2026 using the following link: gatenbysanderson.com/job/GSe131542

To accompany your application, and to help bring it to life, we would like you to record a short video (of no more than 3 minutes in length) using the following link:  https://myint.video/avaASVu3i8

In your video, please share with us why you would like to be our next Head of Foundation.

You will have the opportunity to practice recording a video and to test your equipment using two practice questions. These recordings are not submitted and are for practice purposes only. Once you’ve completed the practice questions, click “I’m ready, proceed to start.” You will then move on to the actual question, where you can record 5 takes and submit the version you are most satisfied with.

If you have any questions about uploading your documents, or if you would welcome a conversation about reasonable adjustments for any stage of the appointment process, including the initial conversation with our consultants, please contact Mary Dempsey-Kelly – mary.dempsey@gatenbysanderson.com

Candidates are also invited to complete the confidential anonymous diversity monitoring form on GatenbySanderson’s website when documents are uploaded. This will be detached from your application by GatenbySanderson and the aggregate anonymised statistics will be shown to the Panel after the selections of candidates have been made at all stages.
